Eric & Sharne Komoroff

Owners

Sharone and Eric have had many adventures... Some better than others. They have two teenagers, two dogs, a home in Brooklyn and in Barryville.

They love building things from scratch, together. Barryville General is a new medium.

Shane Pearson

General Manager

Shane Pearson has a lifelong connection to Highland Township.  His maternal grandmother, Marion O’Neill, was a long-time resident of Yulan, the founder of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and a beloved force in the area for decades.  As a teenager, Shane worked as a dishwasher, busboy and chef de partie for chef Jim Bernhardt, He spent summers working for Jim, the man who became his mentor, friend, and eventual partner in the re-opening of Baker’s Tap Room.

After Baker’s, Shanes journey in food and beverage continued as he was involved as an owner/operator, consultant and executive chef in a variety of restaurants and resorts in the Catskills.  He loves the area, has raised his four children there, and looks forward to serving the community in Barryville General.  He plans to build on his knowledge of the area and the hospitality industry to make BG a place for long-time residents, newcomers, and weekend visitors.
