Indi + Ash Alpaca and Cotton Cardigan

Indi + Ash create extremely thoughtful garments, employing a variety of traditional techniques and reinvesting profit into the artisans responsible for their production, as well as the communities they live in. This heavyweight piece of outerwear is made with alpaca-wrapped pima cotton yarns –the softness and warmth of alpaca, but with the additional durability and drape of cotton and natural dyed.  

This edition features a fully natural (plant based, non-synthetic) indigo dye on both the cotton and alpaca yarns. Alpaca is the softer, warmer cousin of wool, much in the same way that pima cotton is the sturdier, more comfortable sibling of regular cotton. Over time, these two yarns will relax, and the garment will open up, increasing in size by about 10%.
